On 18 September
1970 the French-Italian musical comedy "L'homme orchestre"
(English title "The Band") is released in France. The film was
directed by Serge Korber and written by Jean Halain with a musical
score composed by François de Roubaix. Main stars are Louis de Funès
, his son Olivier de Funès, Noëlle Adam and Puck Adams. An atypical
de Funès film with still plenty of comedy but he also sings, dances
and plays a father caring for two babies.
Synopsis
Monsieur Édouard - say Evan Evans (Louis de Funès) is a manager of a female dance
group. He and his cousin Philippe Evans (Olivier de Funès) leads the
group on a tour in Rome. Evans prohibits the dancers to socialise
with men but one of the girls has a baby in Rome...
