The French-Italian-Spanish film "La Tulipe noire" ("The Black Tulip") was released on 28 February 1964. The film was directed by Christian-Jaque and written by Henri Jeanson slightly based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas. Main stars are Alain Delon, Virna Lisi and Dawn Addams. The music was composed by Alain Goraguer.

Synopsis
In
1789 aristocrat Guillaume de Saint Preux leads a double life as the
masked bandit the Black Tulip. During a robbery the Tulip's face is
scared and afterwards Guillaume
asks his twin brother Julien to impersonate him...
