1962, Film; Crooks Anonymous

The British comedy "Crooks Anonymous" was released in April 1962. The film was directed by Ken Annakin with a screenplay by Jack Davies and Henry Blyth. Main stars are Leslie Phillips as Dandy Forsdyke, Stanley Baxter as Brother Widdowes, Wilfrid Hyde-White as Senior Brother Montague and Julie Christie as Babette La Verne. The music was composed by George Martin and Muir Mathieson .

Synopsis
Captain "Dandy Forsdyke" (Leslie Phillips) is a pathological thief, he subjects himself to a strict correction course run by a wealthy ex-convict Brother Widdowes (Stanley Baxter) and his Crooks Anonymous organization. Forsdyke's young and innocent girlfriend Babette La Verne (Julie Christie) promises that she'll marry him if he's cured...

1960, Belgian Comics: Kuifje Magazine Volume 15 n°49

On December 8, 1960, volume 15 number 49 of the youth magazine "Kuifje" (original title "Tintin") is published by Lombard. The weekly "Kuifje" first appeared in 1946. In 1993, the publication was discontinued.

1977, Television: Secret Army

The British / Belgian television series “Secret Army” premiered on 7 September 1977. The drama series was made by the BBC in cooperation with the Belgian national broadcaster BRT. It tells the story of a Belgian resistance movement in German-occupied Belgium during the Second World War. Made in the UK and Belgium three series were broadcast between 7 September 1977 and 15 December 1979.

Secret Army was created by Gerard Glaister, a former RAF pilot, as a follow-up to Colditz, it loosely portrays the operations of WW II escape and evasion lines especially the Belgian-created Comet line led by the young Belgian Andrée de Jongh. The series followed the timeline of the war to show how it affected Belgium. Filming took place in Belgium, other locations were in London and Norfolk. The musical theme was composed by Robert Farnon.
