1963, Television: "The Sentimental Agent"

The British drama television series "The Sentimental Agent" premiered on 28 September 1963. The series was produced by Associated Television and distributed by ITC Entertainment. It ran for 13 one-hour monochrome episodes. The title role stars Carlos Thompson as Argentinian Carlos Varela, a successful import-export agent based in London. The series was created by Leslie Harris with music composed by Ivor Slaney and Edwin Astley.
