1963, Television: "Thierry la Fronde"

On November 3, 1963, the French youth series "Thierry la Fronde" was broadcast for the first time on the French channel RTF Télévision. The series, created by Jean-Claude Deret, was produced in collaboration with Téléfrance. The main roles were played by Jean-Claude Drouot as Thierry la Fronde, Céline Léger as Isabelle, Fernand Bellan as Judas, Clément Michu as Martin, and Robert Bazil as Boucicault. Four seasons of 13 episodes each were made. Each black-and-white episode lasts approximately 30 minutes. The first two seasons were broadcast on "RTF Télévision" from 1963 to 1964; seasons three and four aired on "la première chaîne de l’ORTF" from 1964 to 1966.

Synopsis
In 1356, during the Hundred Years' War, France is occupied by the English, and the Black Prince rules France with an iron fist. In Sologne in the heart of France, Thierry of Janville, a young lord, fights gallantly against the English occupation but is betrayed by his steward, Florent, and loses his title and his lands. He then takes the name of "Thierry La Fronde", and with the help of his faithful companions continues his fight undercover…
