1971, Belgian Comics: “Piet Pienter en Bert Bibber”, “Superbrandstof en pikante saus”

In 1971 the 28th "Piet Pienter en Bert Bibber" album "Superbrandstof en pikante saus" (translation: "Super fuel and spicy sauce") was published. The series "Piet Pienter en Bert Bibber" was created by Pom alias Jozef Van Hove in 1950.

1969, Cars: Škoda 100/110

In 1969 Czechoslovakian auto-maker Škoda introduced the Škoda 100/110 4-door sedan with a rear engine and rear wheel drive. The new car was the successor for the Škoda 1000 MB/1100 MB. Engine sizes were a L4, 988 cc, with a maximum speed of 125 km/h, in the Škoda 100 and a L4, 1107 cc, with a maximum speed of 135km/h, in the Škoda 110. In 1970 a sporty version the Škoda 110 R coupé was added to the range.

From 1969 to 1977 a total of 1,079,708 cars were produced. The coupé version stayed in production until 1980. The Škoda 1000 MB/1100 MB was succeeded by the Škoda 105/120.
